Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website (referred to as the ‘Site’). We value and uphold the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same in return. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can issue a takedown notice to our designated DMCA Agent as provided below. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA against claims of copyright infringement. To file a valid infringement claim, the following information must be included in your notice:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or an authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
- Details of the infringing material and a URL to help locate it;
- Contact information of the complainant, including name, address, email, phone, and fax;
- A statement affirming good faith belief of unauthorized use;
- Confirmation of the accuracy of the information provided and authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Section 17 USC §512(f) imposes penalties on individuals who knowingly provide false information in an infringement notification under 17 USC §512(c)(3), including costs and attorney fees.
Please submit all takedown notices via our Contact page, preferably by email for quicker processing.
It is important to note that we may share the identity of the complainant and details of the claim with the alleged infringer. By filing a claim, you acknowledge and consent to this disclosure.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you have received a takedown notice due to copyright infringement and wish to dispute it, you can provide a counter notification to our DMCA Agent. Your counter notice should contain:
- Your signature;
- Description of the removed material and its original location;
- A statement asserting good faith belief in mistaken removal;
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction for legal proceedings.
Submit your counter notice via our Contact page, preferably through email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a stringent policy against copyright infringement, as mandated by the DMCA. We keep track of DMCA notices and make efforts to identify and address repeat infringers, who may face account termination.
